Pollstar.com was due for a redesign, and they hired Telligent to handle the project since they were planning on running it on our CMS and community platform called Community Server. It wasn’t exactly a seamless transition from what they had up, and a lot of collaboration and thought went into figuring out exactly how to make sense of it all without completely redoing the site, but the end result was very nice.

In the end, the design came out great, and developers at pollstar did a nice job implementing the design into the product.

Some feedback from the community:

Mashable
“Overall, it’s a nice looking site with convenient options for staying up to date on favorite artists and venues.”

from Gary Kupczak
“…I noticed a news post announcing the beta of their redesigned consumer-level Pollstar site. Much to my surprise and delight, the site incorporates most of the ideas I had been working on, right down to the MyPollstar functionality (it’s even called MyPollstar). They’ve even ditched their ugly outdated layout for a sleeker, more modern one. It looks rather a bit better than mine to boot, having been designed by actual graphic designers… It’s actually rather heartening to know that there are actually people out there paying attention to usability issues.”

from the Pollstar Community

“I like the look and the photos are fantastic. Lots of new interesting stuff…”
“I like the look of the new site. I really like the fact that you don’t have to specify what you are searching for (artist, band, venue, city). I hate the old drop down box.”
“So far so good, looks real nice”
